Sore Muscle Balm- Ingredients & their purposes- Essential oils- * Peppermint Oil contains menthol, which has a cooling effect on sore, achy muscles. It also has analgesic, antispasmodic, and anti-inflammatory properties. * Eucalyptus Oil has a cooling effect on muscles and reduces pain and inflammation. * Black Pepper Oil has warming, anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties. Black Pepper Essential Oil works to reduce joint and muscle pains and symptoms of arthritis and rheumatism. * Clove Oil is used to soothe muscle aches and pains. Cloves help the blood flow through the area and help reduce the pain. Because it helps improve circulation, clove oil is ideal for reducing the pain and discomfort typically associated with tension headaches. * Cinnamon Oil is known to boost the circulation and aid muscle relaxation, which will help prevent muscle pain. Cinnamon is also and effective anti-inflammatory, helping to ease aching muscles. Cinnamon has been shown to have anti-oxidant qualities. * Frankincense Oil works as a great remedy for discomfort and stress.
